At Art by Mya, I’m passionate about bringing creativity to life—whether through custom fine art commissions, vibrant watercolor parties, or personalized art lessons for all ages. watercolor parties
At your watercolor party, each guest will receive their own watercolor palette, brushes, and paper to create their masterpiece (*couples will share one palette). The party host gets to choose the painting everyone will create, with final approval needed at least two weeks before the event. All parties are BYOE (Bring Your Own Everything) for snacks and drinks, so you can customize your refreshment table however you like. I bring the party to you—you pick the venue, and I’ll handle the rest! Just be sure there’s enough table space and seating for all participants. A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date. Whether it's a birthday, girls' night, or corporate event we look forward to leading your party for you.
Pricing:
Each participant pays $55 per person or $70 per couple* (*couples share one watercolor palette).
Special group rates apply: get $100 off when you have 20 guests, $200 off for 30 guests, and $300 off for 40 guests. (For larger groups, custom discounts are available—just ask!)
Children’s party pricing is $40 per child (ages 12 and under) and $45 per teen (ages 13–18).
A $40 travel fee applies to locations over 25 miles away, and bookings made less than two weeks in advance incur a $50 rush fee.
commission pieces
At Art by Mya, I create custom fine art commissions that are truly personal and one-of-a-kind. My offerings include abstract acrylic paintings, expressive landscapes (in acrylic, charcoal, pen and ink, or watercolor), realism charcoal portraits, and abstract florals. Each piece is crafted with professional-grade materials and a dedication to detail. Whether you’re seeking a meaningful gift, a striking portrait, or a statement piece for your home, I work closely with you to bring your unique vision to life.
To order a custom piece, complete the commission form linked in my Instagram bio (@Mya.h.artist) or click the button. After reviewing your submission, I’ll reach out to discuss your concept (with sketch approval available if needed). Once a 50% non-refundable deposit is paid, I’ll begin creating your artwork. Standard completion time is around 5 weeks, though larger pieces may take longer. When your piece is finished, we’ll arrange delivery. I accept Venmo, Zelle, and cash (for in-person transactions). If shipping is needed, rates will be provided separately. Please note: if the final artwork isn’t what you expected, your deposit remains non-refundable.
Pricing:
• Abstract acrylic paintings: $1.50 per square inch (under 22×28), $2.50 per square inch (over 22×28)
• Charcoal realism portraits: $2.50 per square inch (under 18×24), $5 per square inch (over 18×24)
• Landscapes: $2 per square inch (under 22×28), $3 per square inch (over 22×28)
Additional fees:
• $50 supply fee for acrylic paintings
• $50 supply fee for watercolor and charcoal pieces over 18×24
• $50 rush fee for orders needed in less than 3 weeks
• $30 for acrylic varnish
• Framing available upon request (price varies by piece)

art lessons
I offer personalized art lessons for all skill levels—beginner (ages 4–8), intermediate (ages 9–12), and advanced (ages 13 and up). Acrylic painting is introduced starting at the intermediate level. With training in watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, pastels, and pen and ink, I design each lesson to match your child’s creative interests and developmental needs. Lessons are conducted at your home for comfort and convenience, and I’m happy to work with children as young as 4 years old.
pricing:
beginner: $35
Intermediate: $45
Advanced: $60
Each beginner lesson is 45 minutes other lessons are one hour long, with the option to add extra time for $25 per additional hour. Beginners pay a one-time supply fee of $35, while intermediate and advanced students pay $50. If your child chooses acrylic painting, there may be small additional fees for canvases as needed. I offer beginner lessons for ages 4–8, intermediate for ages 9–12, and advanced for ages 13 and up, with acrylic painting starting at the intermediate level. Every lesson is thoughtfully curated to your child’s interests and skill level, and all lessons take place at your home for convenience and comfort. I’m trained in watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, pastels, and pen and ink, and can begin teaching children as young as 4 years old.
